How do we like to spend our spare time - if we ever have any? I'm definatly sloth-like, me & hubby like to have coffee in garden centres - occasionally do some gardening too, or curl up on the sofa with a good read. I have to say in my defence though, incase that sounds really lazy (!) that I work really hard the rest of the time ;)

I have to admit to having been a fully paid up member of the indoor league. I play Call of Duty, World of Tanks, Americas Army, (online games) you get the picture........ Although I do help my wife on our allotment which I really enjoy. We grow mostly veg but we do have a few raspberry and gooseberry bushes.

I also really enjoy designing buildings, extensions, loft conversions, etc for people in my spare time, I have even done a few new houses which I am really proud of. I trained as a Building Surveyor at Uni but ended up working in local government.

If I could get away with it, I'd spend my entire time reading! But I do also love cooking, chatting with friends over coffee and sitting in the garden admiring it while OH does the gardening! However, I do get off my butt occasionally and help with the garden, or go swimming. I used to love to ride my horse but my increasing weight combined with his great age means I haven't ridden him for ages. Hopefully, I'll lose enough weight to be able to get back on before he gets too old to carry me (he's about 30 years old, which is around 90 in human terms!).

Nothing I like better than having a spade in my hands. With the foul weather we've had lately there's been no chance of that, the nearest I got to it was clearing the snow from the drive about half a dozen times over the last couple of weeks.

Caro you really should get back to riding. I'm saying that because I've been out for a hack with my girl today for the first time in ages and it was fab. Such a beautiful day today too. I'm definitely no spring chicken either!
Otherwise I'm another who loves reading and baking. I like training my young Highland ponies, looking after my chooks, dogs and cats, smallholding, nice homely activities. Sitting in front of a roaring log fire takes some beating! I also consider running my little b&b as a bit of a hobby even though it can also be hard work.
I enjoy swimming and pilates too. Basically there are never enough hours in the day!

Basketball. Don't play regularly enough, but like to play.
Americas Army? Wow haven't played that since version 2.0. 'Twas my favourite online FPS.

I have also discovered a love for apathy and cynicism and love to partake whenever I can be bothered, or until the govt take them from me.

For me it's drumming - here's my current band that was started a few weeks ago and some footage from our first gig - it's a 60's based band if you fancy that sort of thing. (and great for burning calories)

I love sewing. I'm a quilter. I run a local group which keeps me fairly busy. I have two new pups that need a fair bit of attention and exercise. I also love reading and surfing the web. Just started Pilates and when I'm a lot lighter I'm going to get back into running.

I am a mosaic artist,it's more of a passion for me than a hobby and sometimes I even make money doing it which is a plus! Another passion is cooking for family and friends, always looking for something new to cook, I am an avid reader and player of Draw Something and Word With Friends also.

I enjoy boating with my husband , well, I have to if I ever want to see him on weekends in the summer because he always on our boat lol. We go out crabbing in the bay just about every wknd even though neither of us eat them, but our friends and neighbors appreciate the free crabs :)

I love working in my flower garden and sewing. I like to stay at home every chance I get as my husband is a homebody also. I help with our grandson as he is 19 mo. of endless energy so I get my exercise running after him. He is the best  I am busy working at the hospital so like to relax when I get home. Have a great day everybody :)

I like gardening and I hope the weather will make it possible soon. I am not exactly very good at it but I enjoy it so much being outdoors. A big problem is that we have got deer coming into our garden and eating everything that starts looking a little nice.
I go Nordic walking in a nearby wood at least twice a week.
And I play drama in a small group.

I enjoy making jewellery, mainly necklaces to match clothes, & beading with tiny beads making necklaces & bracelets with three other friends meeting fortnightly. My recent Egyptian trip has inspired me to make more collar style beading ala Cleopatra! I also have learnt Chinese Brush Painting & would like to paint some pictures to go in my conservatory. I am also going to Adult Ed classes learning Latin but that is becoming more difficult due to my unpredictable memory, but I am trying to keep the little grey cells active. Otherwise reading my Kindle that is now stuffed with the cheap books I have collected, also knitting & I have still to start making "The Killing" Sara Lund jumper that I have bought the wool for. Also listening to radio2 & Classic FM, going to the theatre & classical concerts. Oh & I enjoy cooking delicious meals for friends coming to lunch or dinner & visiting historical sights & National Trust properties.
