Oh Ballerina I hope you have a lovely time! I'm right there with you, I take hubby's wallet into my purse, and I even put a luggage lock through the zipper, which connects to a metal ring on the bag handle. Those nasty cretins aren't getting my money for the romanian mafia! I'll be there July 10, I have my money belt, security purse and I even got one pair of pants with a secret zip pocket for stashing cash! They're not getting my apartment rent :curse:

Janeg - that's awesome! I wish more people were like you.

Tracie has a knicker pocket and is proud of it. YAY!
It wasn't unil afterwards when I started shaking that I realised how bad it could have turned out. Would still do it again though!

Just a quick update, just about to leave home this morning and HE switched of the hall light so I fell down stairs, sore hip but OK then got my hand trapped in the overhead locker on the aircraft so I arrived in Paris rather battered and bruised but otherwise fine. Now got blisters on toes but not one to give up so see what injuries I can accrue tomorrow, thank you all for your kind thoughts, oh, and he's not been robbed yet by a stranger, just me, hee hee

Well, feet look like those smoked hams you see in Italian food shops. My poor little size 4 tootsies are suffering in the heat. They don't usually give me too much grief as I have the requisite number, they are in approximately the right place and they usually face the right direction but they are not happy bunnies. If I got captured by a tribe of cannibals they would starve, thanks to 5:2 till they got to the feet, the whole tribe could feast on my trotters for a week!

Off to see the Mona Lisa then lunch at Train Blue, wow!!

Take care,

My feet were miserable in Paris last year, and it didn't help that I twisted my ankle during my first hour. I ended up spending nearly the whole time wearing my Fit Flops, but my feet were much happier after I put them on.

Yep, Paris is hard on the feet. I remember struggling up the Champs Elysees after having spent the day at the Louvre to get to our hotel near the Arc de Triomphe...we had planned to go out and find somewhere nice for dinner but I only managed to hobble across the road to the nearest cafe...but, of course, being Paris, the food there was delicious anyway! :-D

Be sure to take a photo of all the people taking photos of the Mona Lisa...it's quite funny!
