I drive a Smart car so economical in these days of high petrol prices , nice nippy little car the only disadvantage I find is , only one passenger seat when I go out with friends I can only offer one person a lift .

Boring VW Touran...need the 7-seater for work....
I'm in a ssangyong Rodius, fab beast when working correctly but now it's poorly
Hubby drives a renault megane.
Waiting to get a mondeo through work now.
If I could drive anything it would be a mark 2 jaguar in sky blue, then a figaro in mint green or a Toyota land cruiser
Hubby would have an Aston Martin vantage or a range rover

I used to have a Nissan Figaro but sold it when my local job became permanent, so now I ride a lovely Pashley Princess for half hour each day instead.
I have a quite boring Volvo S40, but it is duel fuel.
It saves me 6p a mile and as I drive 600+ miles a week it seems to make sense.

Renault megane coupe 2011. It is fairly sporty and Cayenne orange so it looks OK. I am still in mourning for my beautiful 2008 mustang GT California special edition that was silver with black stripes and red leather interior. I had to leave it behind in California when I moved back to the UK. That car fit my personality perfectly and the number plate was N4UGHTY. miss that car a lot but petrol here would have bankrupted me!

Oh I'd love a pashley princess but need a car more sadly.
What colour was you Figaro, and did it have a name
Alhambra diesel for the family, for the last 10 years. BMW 1200RT and Suzuki 650DL for when the weather gets better. Keep threatening to update the car but it is such a good vehicle it seems a shame...

Sold the cute little i20 and our much loved Forester and have now got a 'you beaut ute' for our future trips round Australia, just hitch up the camper trailer and away we go!!
We don't own a car. We have bicycles to get around, or we walk. We live right in the center of the town so we don't have need for a car, plus cars and everything that goes with them; petrol, tax, insurance ect is expensive.
We've got 2 kids and we have seats on the bikes for them. My husband takes our eldest to nursery on the bike, she loves it
We try to live as self-sufficiently as possible, so a car goes against that too. We have a smallholding just on the edge of the town, 5km from our house, and my husband cycles there and back every day during the growing season and a few times a week, weather permitting, in the winter. He is really fit. Once both our kids are at school/nursery I'll be able to cycle there with him in the summer when everything needs harvesting and he needs extra hands. We've got an orchard and sell the fruit at the market, and there is too many trees just for my husband to manage so i need to go help him out.
We also have a tiller for plowing the land which we can put wheels on and we have a trailer for it so it becomes like a little tractor that we can drive
Sorry gone a bit off topic

My Astra is duel fuel, I can do up to 300 miles a week, which is about a full tank of gas (LPG not petrol). Costs about £36-38, the same in petrol is about £48-£52. To do the same mileage in my Scooby is at least £68, it will only run on premium fuel. If I put a tenner in it I am frightened I wont get home from the garage

I know that feeling!
When we take the Evo out we have to plan the route via Shell stations!!
I "drive" a one man-power Ridgeback Voyage touring bike. We live in York which is small and flat with good rail connections to the rest of the UK and we just don't see the need to spend all that money just to get less exercise. I realise that depending on your job and where you live this isn't viable for everyone but it works for us and we don't pollute the environment!
We have a 1991 VW Polo Ranger, it is cheap to run and tax, very reliable and only cost £40 to get fixed to pass it's MOT. My little one has named it Red Bird
