What do we all drive then?
02 Feb 2013, 15:29
Let's chat about something other than diets and food. Are there any other petrol heads on here?

I've got a beautiful Mk 1 TT roadster in dark blue. Had her from new and she's 10 years old now with 150k miles! Can't believe how the time and miles have just flown by.

She has a number of power, handling and aesthetic modifications, just to make her mine, and she's now running at about 280bhp.

We love cars, bikes and engines of all sorts. So come on, tell us about your ride....

:)

Ugly but practical Nissan x-trail (needed to tow the caravan  ), OH has company Vauxhall Astra. So all very dull here!

Cool! We're currently on the lookout for a Nissan Pathfinder to replace our aging Jeep Cherokee. Sometimes practicality is required. :)

Used to have a Tin Snail. Loved that car. Every trip was like a ride on a rollercoaster, only very much slower.

Hubby always wanted the Beachcomber, where the front seats came out and became deckchairs!

That sounds like a really nice TT Jemima.

I am lucky enough to drive a 1999 Subaru Impreza UK 2000 Turbo at the weekends. Its also had a few performance parts added and made 300bhp on a rolling road. :P

I drive a astra during the week for work..... :geek:

I drive my husband mad talking about food, the Fast Diet and how hungry I am on fast days!

Other than that I drive a Zafira as I need a 7 seater.

That's very environmentally correct of you Tracieknits. Is this the reason you have a pair of them or were there other considerations? :)

Well we loved the 2005 so much, that when the time came for me to replace my car, it seemed a no-brainer! Hubby fought in the Persian Gulf, so it's important to him to conserve oil and not be wasteful. But it's also just a fun car to drive, it handles really well, and it can hold five people and/or a lot of stuff.
