I drive a Peugeot 206, it does the job but I dont love it. I used to have an Astra sri - now that was a car. Loved that car, it was a dream to drive. Cornered like it was on rails as they say in Pretty Woman! Had to get rid of it due to change in personal circumstance - miss that car way more than the ex boyf lol

LOL Jemima...that was my first thought when I read the heading of the thread too lol.....but I drive a 15 year old Toyota Camry....and I love it to death (mine...it will never die!) I have never had to spend a penny on it other than its regular services and it just went back through its MOT without ever going near a garage first....turn the key in her every morning and she has never failed me yet!! love that car :)

Now I have a short wheel base Rav 4 as live in deepest rural France, lots of mud and get snowed in every winter. Before we moved here we had a beautiful yellow C5 corvette....complete petrol heads in this house. We are 60 miles from Le Mans which is why we bought this house....24 hour Le Mans addicts! Now our hobby car is an old Ford pop, sit up and beg, that is running but needs restoring. Has to come after the property renovation though. I really miss having a fast car but it doesn't work on these roads.
