OK, so I found revenge and went through season 1-2 and as many episodes of 3 that has showed here (7-8) and John (son) told me to watch the film Escape Plan and I did. But now what? Don't like the description of Breaking Bad, but otherwise? Is there anything as good as Revenge to watch? Suggestions please. And no, I don't like Orange is the New Black either ;)
Not sure what type of programme Revenge is, but can highly recommend The Bridge (Bron/Broen)...very good indeed! But you've probably already seen it!
I love Revenge too; series 3 is only about to start here. :)

I assume you will have seen Borgen?!

My son has watched Breaking Bad and I intend do - worth giving a go.

Have you seen the various "24" series? Get the boxed set of West Wing - a brilliant series! The Aussie series Love My Way is great too. But of course depends what sort of things you like.

Happy viewing :)
 Hi I love Revenge but seem to have missed it for ages must check up on where + when to see if I can catch-up.
I love Revenge too. Have you seen Damages ( Glenn Close) I watched two seasons of that and didn't know they made more. The Almighty Johnsons was brilliant too.
I agree Damages was really good. I saw all 5 seasons.

Breaking Bad has to be the best series I've ever seen. It can be a bit graphic at times but in a way that fits and with some dark humor.

Rectify is really interesting. Season 2 is due sometime this year but I'm not sure when.

I've heard nothing but good things about The Sopranos but still haven't seen it.

Boss was excellent but cancelled after two seasons. Still worth watching.

As you can see I watch way to much. Not much else to do when it's so cold out.
Revenge is a guilty pleasure show for me. My new guilty pleasure is Sleepy Hollow. it's completely ridiculous, but i love it anyway. Also, i'm glad Justified has restarted and The Americans will restart soon.
How about the Good Wife? Oh, and I hope Scandal is coming back. It was so fast paced!
Oh Revenge is a guilty pleasure in our house too! Not our usual type of viewing at ALL, especially for Dom but he was channel-hopping and settled on the very first episode out of desperation a couple of years ago and now we're both hooked. Hoping series 3 is a little less convoluted than series 2, seems to be so far....

My REAL addiction is Grey's Anatomy. We don't have Sky so I have to find the latest episodes on line to be able to watch it. My daughter's boyfriend bought her the series 1 to 9 DVD box set for Christmas... wel jel (as they say!)
I watched the 1st season but couldn't take it anymore so I stopped watching and never looked back. If I have to choose cheesy situations I prefer classics like Dynasty or Santa Barbara

I know there is another serie that began this year which should be a big bit like it when we see the title "Betrayal"
Thank you all for your suggestions, will check them up.
I'm not really a TV person nowadays, but occasionally Masterchef (nowadays the American), some "finding new home", occasional animal rescuers, but otherwise I rather sew and/or read. But an evening when The DH was out, I randomly zapped between channels and found Revenge and was hooked. It absolutely remind me of all the devilish series from the 80th and who in their right mind can resist that.?
One thing I try to catch up and even have downloaded and is unbelievebly cute is "too cute" on animal planet. It's about puppies and kittens and I can't resist it

Nowadays I don't really find something that pleases me. I still watch "Will and Grace" for the laughs and "Gilmore Girls" for the drama but I get bored easily

Anyway I have a big crush on cheesy 80s series like Dynasty or Dempsey and Makepeace on TWL at the time if I remember correctly and even found the whole Bergerac series.
Oh @Wolfie you HAVE to watch Breaking Bad. Honestly, after seeing that everything I have ever seen just pales into insignificance...and I've seen A LOT! I was like you and didn't like the sound of it (poor taste) but actually it is incredibly good and the acting is out if this world. I guess thats why it keeps winning awards, including the Golden Globe for best drama this year! Give it a go, I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed!

Bean
