@Brand-ie same from me: GET WELL SOON. It is the time of year, though.
@Brand-ie Get well soon :clover:
It's exactly what OH is getting off of, he had to have cortisone and had to sleep sitting down the first days because he was so full of mucus, had high fever, was aching and coughing and his voice changed so much I barely recognized him on the phone  He had that thing for a month and I am the only one around him who didn't catch it

May go to Paris today for the first time in 10 years.... Not really comfortable with it, I hate Paris, lived there for 2 years and couldn't breathe properly, but OH is extra busy at work and it's me doing the effort to go to him or we won't be able to see each other for the next few weeks.....
I've actually felt a little better today so thank you all.
@Brand-ie that sounds very familiar, I'm ducking and diving colleagues who have been ill since new year, so far so good. I hope you feel better soon and are keeping warm and snug in this cold weather. Brrr
Edit: Opps, missed your update, glad you are feeling some relief!!!!
Keep getting better and betterer @brand-ie! :like:

hi @Candicemarie  No more JL vouchers sadly despite buying furniture from them recently! Perhaps it was just too much of a good thing for them to keep the offer going :frown:
and yes, I do know the gallery you mentioned, did you find a suitable picture for your beau? xx
Hi my old pal@Callyanna despite them having so many lovely ones,he didnt see what he wanted! Its gettin a bit tedious  no i dont really mind, i enjoy searching..
Got one in Taskers! Still looking for one or two more...going into Rennies in Bold St on Saturday..they're bringing a few paintings from their Ormskirk branch for us to inspect! I didnt even know they had a branch there ...handy to know..i love a little drive to Ormskirk specially when the market is on.
I think you really really deserve more vouchers for buying furniture..JL furniture is NOT cheap! X
Actually CM , JL were the best value for what we were looking for, flat pack desk, bookcase and chest of drawers for the study, great quality and looks really good!
:like: :like: :like: i love a bargain!
Funnily enough@Callyanna DD and SIL are in there tonight looking for a comfy office chair to go in their study! X
Blimey, Candy. You still not found a picture yet?!
I do sometimes get Radio Times (usually at Christmas) does the article relate to famous fasters?
@nursebean,..we've found one pic, looking for another two!
No it doesnt mention famous fasters..its mainly very encouraging news that they feel more sure there are big health benefits
MM is starting to annoy me..used to feel he was a bit of eye candy ( for Candy) but i think he looks a bit too smug...still,he brought 5:2 to my attention and to many others,so i' ll drink to that...

I am about to go buy some very warm panty hose and a skirt that go go in a small bag and be worn later in the evening without looking ridiculous.

I am going to Paris today, by train, and OH will come to pick me up with his motorbike....Do you know the last time I went on that kind of engine ?????? 25 years ago !!!! :-o :silly:
