Small desk lamp with Eco bulb, on the base of this my wedding ring and Casio stopwatch with the alarm set to 06:01 to make sure MrsPete gets up in time for work...

My dad's old Sekonda quartz watch, still showing GMT (slightly fast)

My Seiko Kinetic watch, bought when we started ebaying, still accurate to 35 seconds a year

The Omega Seamaster watch given to me by my larger son last year, found on eBay and polished up a treat. Nearly as old as me but still keeping really good time, currently unwound

(Overnight) the Oris Diver watch bought with Tesco rewards 3 years ago, just back from a repair under warranty and now running a second a day slow

Tube of Bodyshop Hemp hand protector cream

The wired version of the house landline phone, so guaranteed to still ring during a power cut

A coaster from the 1992 GEC 10 mile road-race, their 30th anniversary and my best official ten mile time (63:20), and on this...

The remote control to MrsPete's clock radio, which blasts out pop music from about 05:25 but singularly fails to rouse said missus, hence the Casio fallback so that I can do the job

The obligatory dust

A lamp
A picture of my mum and dad when they were first married
A thing made by Min - I have no idea what it is but she made it so it must be on show!

Do you have a bit of a thing for watches then@CreakyPete? My elder son is the same - clocks too
Yep@Lil, as does large son who has a collection of Omega mechanical and electronic watches which he has refurbished. We like all things mechanical, lawnmowers, organs etc, and I am also the official, paid, clock winder at the church where we are bellringers...
interesting topic!
We have small 5 shelf vertical book cases that we use as a nightstand - room for 5x more dust and junk.
So, from the top:
1)Lavender sleep mist, bottle of Chalice Well Essential Transformation drops
2)unused alarm clock (use the phone), headphones, lip balm and night eye cream
3)tissue box (gift from a student in Thailand), cough drops, phone charger
4) 6-10 books at any given time, assorted fiction/non-fiction, mother's day cards and artwork from too long ago to pin down
5) wire basket with miscellaneous things needed for fun times ;)
I have just realised that looking at this thread has triggered a load of ads for furniture! Makes a change from ads from M&S s for thing I have already bought or are out of stock I suppose!
Big pile of newspapers with articles that I mean to get round to reading.
4 Books
I kindle
Lavender misting spray
