Today I am having all my hair cut off (well very short at least) my hair is half way down my back but I figured since I've lost 5 stone now I needed to have a new look to go with my new size! I've never had my hair cut so short before but I needed to do something drastic and this is it!! I'm feeling nervous about it right now.

Good luck indeed! Hope you update your avatar with your new look! You might find you're a pound or two lighter in weight with the hair gone!

Quite a scary thing to do as we tend to hide behind our hair so getting a chop is a very brave thing to do. It also shows how far you've come that you are confident enough to do this, brave girl, go for it I'm sure you will look fab. No stopping you now......

Completely OT I know but having mentioned 'the chop' it reminded me of the time a friend's husband told us he'd had 'the chop' and dodo here commiserated with him on losing his job when in fact he was telling us about his vasectomy! 
Strangely I had my hair cut today, was half way down my back and now just touches my neck. Not the first time it has happened though. I know that after your hair had been cut you will feel like a new woman and after the shock you are going to love it!! Enjoy your new look.
