That's so funny - ALL of my rib-cage hugging pants were LL Bean or Land's End.

And @Julieathome, we have a queen size bed, and no matter how thin or fit I get, I'm sure I won't be able to flip it by myself. So I don't know how you did it... I got help recently with that very task from a couple of my strong 20-somethings.
@wendyjane @Marybeth - LandsEnd have had a base in UK since mid 90s - got to know about them when my sister was living on Argentina and Mexico and used them alot for mailorder - early days of internet! So the whole family ended up using them! They are very good on sizing and different styles!!
An NSV for me this weekend too.

We went up to London for our anniversary and I managed to walk up all the stairs in the tube stations without getting out of breath and without my thighs burning! :victory:
Bending over to put on tight slip on shoes. No bother, I'm no longer having to put my foot up on a step to reach back loop for pulling them on.
My NSV, bought a pair of UK size 14 trousers today! They're a little snug but the 16's were already too big and in one wear would have been too loose! It's bitter sweet as I've had to retire my favourite trousers as of today as they are just rediculously big. Onwards and downwards!
Congrats Julieathome,I struggle with turning our normal size matress over, I wouldn't fancy my chances with a bigger one!

My nsv is that I can now easily walk up the three flights of stairs to my flat with my 2 year old in one arm and a shopping bag in the other without too much trouble. Up until recently carrying my daughter was hard enough, now if I only have to carry her I can pretty much run up the stairs!
Wow Nicky that is impressive. As is the mattress turning I hate that job. My NSV is that at 67years old I have started couch 2 5k Only on week 4but still managing, I may have to repeat some of the later weeks as it starts to look hard  but I will battle on.
When I sit on the train, next to a slim person, we have a nice big comfortable gap between us
I have recently got into a new relationship and my boyfriend (hehe still feels funny saying it!) Told me that his housemate was impressed because I wasn't fat. Yep, me. NOT fat apparently!!!

I hadn't consciously noticed that, but now you mention it, yes! I don't fill quite as much of the seat as I used to!
I can't wait to fly on holiday again. The last time I flew I couldn't get the lap/seat tray to go all the way down, it couldn't get past my stomach.
My tennis just keeps getting better and better. I am quicker, lighter on my feet, and my reflexes seem to have improved, too.

I haven't lost that much weight (yet--I've lost about 7 pounds in 7 weeks), but it's definitely making a difference. I also seem to have more energy.
