Absolutely unbelievable
18 Sep 2013, 11:02
Went to a nearby mall to check out some shoes but ended up in a garment store and after looking at my "normal" size, holding some trousers next to me, I realized that they where much to wide. So I plucked out 2 dresses, one skirt and one sweater and went to the changing room. And know what? I have dropped 3 sizes since last winter!!! I can hardly believe it- 3 sizes down to 44 (Swedish/European size)!!!! I can't remember when that size last fitted me....+10 yrs ago I think. Guess how I feel? I could jump up and down and just scream
And - of course I bought the dresses, one skirt and the sweater. I'm danged happy that I haven't put the scissors to the fabrics I bought recently

Congratulations. How much have you lost so far? I'm hoping for a new summer wardrobe this year. The charity stores are getting all my old fat clothes.

Thank you all for the lovely cheer. I have lost 13kg since January (breaking point was the vacation pictures from FL :-() but have only been on the 5:2 since sometime during the summer.
I know all my clothes are starting to loose up recently, but coming down from size 50 (the most of me ever) to size 44 today is mind boggling. One more size and I will be down to what I wore when I got my oldest son 17 yrs ago.

I started to wonder if the store I bought my clothes at have generous sizes, but a friend of mine say no.

Amazing it is

I'm even able to get into my pointy, black high heeled suede boots! And that's a first in I think 4 years or something. How they will fare for driving is an entirely different question LOL. But just to have feet on a slimmer note is just = happy!!
