Haven't lost one hg or cm the last two weeks, even though I have been a (mostly) good girl. Might have to do with meds? Or thyroid issues? Have no clue, but at least I haven't gained any weight either. It feel so boring when nothing happens, even though I made some efforts... :frown: :?:

A small cheer: Do you have La Redoute mail order in Brittain (and the rest of the world?) ? Then you know that their French sizes are one smaller than EU sizes. I love their Tallissime leggings since they go up to the waste and stay there thanks a wide elastic. I ordered one pair i size 46 and held my breath. And.....they fit!! Even a wee bit too large, but I wouldn't dare to go for size 44.....just yet?

Well done on fitting into those leggings, you must be thrilled :D

Don't worry about the weight or the measurements when it's only stalled for a couple of weeks, often your body's natural fluctuations in weight can mask the actual loss, for example if you're holding an extra lb of water for some reason but have lost 1lb of fat, you'll appear to be the same weight, until the water weight vanishes :)

Thyroid could also be the issue here, and it may be worth asking other sufferers here on the forum if they've experienced similar stalls.

I've had plenty of stalls along the way, followed by losses - even a plateau of almost 2 months, which seemed to break by itself.

Hi Wolfie we do have La Redoute..those leggings sound good!
I am a bit frustrated too re progress...i seem to lose/ regain the same few pounds, but then in the middle of my six weeks 5:2ing,ive had two weeks away from home when i was overeating all the time :0( tho i DID do m y fast n repair days.
Today,I seem to have lost an inch from waist and one from bust, but i dont really totally trust the accuracy of my measuring skills
I am over 60, have underactive thyroid and chronic fatigue syndrome ..i guess we have to be more patient when various factors come into play ..keep the faith tho,if we hang on in there,we will see results!

Me too have an under active thyroid and for that I take what in Sweden is called Levaxin (Levotyroxin) - from what I read several yrs ago, that can affect the ability to loose weight. Right or wrong? Have no clue ;)

Keep at it Wolfie! I have gone a couple of months without losing weight, but then it starts to come off again. I also have an underactive thyroid.
