Congratulations, Windsinger, for nipping your temporary weight gain in the bud!

In two weeks I have managed to lose seven pounds of the weight that I have regained since October and now have six and a half pounds to get back to my target weight of ten stone, seven pounds, which I reached in July.

Although this may have been a setback, I know that I have the tools to get rid of my excess weight and I am celebrating the fact that, after Christmas this year, I was still (despite my backsliding) a stone lighter than in January 2013. (I have to make the most of my small successes!)

This has taught me a very valuable lesson. I must check my weight every week and do something about it when it goes up more than pound or two. I refuse to beat myself up about it and will endeavour to be better at maintaining next time!

Good luck to all those still on this journey! :clover:
How wonderful, congratulations. You are proof that this WOL works. Well done!

Maybe we should be 'recovering dieters' when we reach maintenance...

What a great result @StowgateResident! I agree that regular weighing is very important - I do so every day even if I am fearful of the result! Your positive attitude is admirable and you have done well to get back on track. Good luck with the last few pounds :like:
Well done! It has taken me a couple of weeks to recapture my determination but I'm back in the zone and determined to rid myself of my festive layer, sooner rather than later now....
 Well done @windsinger123 on kicking your xmas gain into touch. Good luck with your return to maintenance. :clover:
