I started this WOE back in April weighing 16st3, and despite my scepticism, the first stone came off fairly steadily. Then came my lovely long 8 week break from work (I work in a school). Two holidays, many parties and an awful lot of Eton Mess later, and I put on quite a few pounds....
Now back at work, I have shifted those naughty pounds, and taken off a couple of new ones, and have finally reached my first interim target of 15st! I cannot believe that next week, (or possibly the week after, as slow is good) the scales will say 14 something
The only slightly annoying thing is that my waist measurement, after falling at the beginning, is now stubbornly refusing to move. As I just measure around my bellybutton, I can only assume that the whole middle-aged-spread-jellybelly is slowly slipping southwards, but that it is still the same where I measure? Skirts do feel looser....
