Thanks everybody for your kind comments. I know that the weight loss will start tailing off, but I'll keep focused and see how things go. I also need to start doing something about the blood glucose levels. I imagine that weight and glucose levels will be inter-related. I've bought a monitor so that I can keep an eye on things, and observe what is useful in terms of my diet. Today I found a book which recommends a vegan diet for controlling glucose levels. I'm not sure what I think about that, although I did try veganism for around a year some time ago, when I was wanting to reduce cancer risks after my brother had cancer. I felt well on the diet, but it became very difficult due to frequently working away from home. Perhaps it will be more manageable now.

I'll start to observe things very closely and see what I think.

In the meantime I will enjoy my sylph-like overweight state!
