Yeah

I recently went put to get some new jeans (not "skinny" I hasten to add!) and bought 2 size 38 & 1 size 36 (a different make)
When I looked up what 36 is in English I was SO astounded that I had to verify it in several different places .... 36 = size 8

I have NEVER in my adult life been a size 8
I was size 16 at the start of my 5:2 journey

Enough said!

Congratulations! It's a great surprise isn't it? Speaking from a die-hard-bootleg-jean-wearer point of view, you should definitely have at least one pair of skinny jeans - I now own a pair and they are SO much easier to get into your wellies when you're off to the yard!!! lol

But do try skinny jeans - I never thought I'd wear them, but as part of the right 'look', they're great and when I wear my bootcut jeans now, they seem massive!

Another skinny jeans convert here. I always, always went for bootcut jeans until I was persuaded to try skinnies earlier this year. I like 'relaxed skinny' jeans from Next. Not spray on, not too low in the waist, and comfy. So much easier with boots as has been said.
