It's a great day!
28 Nov 2013, 23:55
Hello forum friends,
Today I have moved from the obese bmi section to the overweight section ( never thought I'd be so happy to be overweight  ) I have lost 18.1 kg ( 39.8lbs ) in 36 weeks and I'm averaging 0.499kg loss per week. :victory: I am half way to my goal of 69 kgs ( I'm 170 cms tall) and the progress tracker estimates 31 st July next year. I'm in no rush.
How did I do this? With all of your support, laughs, information and entertainment over the last 8 months so thankyou from the bottom of my heart.
I started with the basic 5:2 . I used to have 3 meals a day adding up to 500 cals then after probably 3 months 2 meals and now most of the time now just dinner of 300 cals with 2 or 3 teas through the day a a coke zero. If I need lunch as well on a fast day like yesterday then I will have it. If I need to go 100 cals a bit over on a fast day then I will do that. This WOE is really flexible and forgiving if your not in a rush.
I started tweaking things in September before my trip to Phuket and started not eating till lunch time as I realized that I've never really been a breakfast person. So I'm usually only having lunch and dinner. I dont count calories on my other 5 non fast days. I probably eat a bit less during the week but friday night to sunday night i wayhay and eat and drink whatever i like. My hubby still eats 3 meals on fast days and has lost around 15 kgs and is 2-3 kgs from goal.
I love that I am not controlled by hunger or scared of it. Before march this year when i started i used to have 4 meals a day. Thats 28 meals a week. Now i have 12-14 meals a week. I don't need morning or arvo tea - i just drink tea.
