I've posted a few times over the past 5 weeks that I've not lost weight on the 5:2, but am happy to report that it's now happening, and fast. I am now 6lbs down on my start weight and my trousers are falling down!
Just want to encourage people to keep it up, for some of us it takes time to kick in.
The whole process has become easier. I didn't think I'd be able to keep it up after the first couple of weeks, but have taken advice to save most calories for the evening, drink lots etc. Now I buy a weight watchers ready meal, which saves the laborious calorie counting bit. Planning is essential, and I put together my 'plan' for fast days the night before.
So, thanks for this site, and the wealth of info and encouragement.
