Well done Wendy on seeing your lowest weight in a few years + you will see it again :like: and after a busy week, fasting week, well anyweek really you need a treat or 3 because yes you deserve it  I also read many years ago that red wine & chocolate were good for you, and no one can have one without the other ( well can they ?? ) for me it absolutely has to be the darkest of darkest chocolate and the darkest of darkest red wine there is and I couldn't do without either so i'm not giving up either for this WOL but my chocky treats are smaller but the wine well once its opened well it goes off doesn't it ? So if you have help you obviously reducing right away half each, occasionally you make sure you don't get any help    so tonight well I got the unwanted help and no way am I opening another, hence I'm here looking for something else to pass the time away. Cheers  :frown: Sue
Whenever I was asked what my favourite meal was I always used to say 'a bottle of red wine and a box of chocolates' and I could never understand why folk laughed because it was ALMOST true! Actually, not much has changed, I still love wine and chocolates but I just don't indulge QUITE as often these days,

Ballerina x
Wendy Darling my 5:2+16:8 wey hey twin we are same same on other levels after my holiday I have struggled too with a plateau. So it is exciting to see you at a new low and have my fingers crossed that my efforts today with 5:2 liquid fast will bring home the goods for me. Albeit a fleeting low as visitors are coming and there will be much lovely conversation greased with red carbs :)
Thank you Sue, you know me too well, yes, sometimes the help needs a slapped wrist! Yes Ballerina, I could have a meal of chocolate and wine and not see a problem with that.

Hey Antipodean twin, thank you, good luck and have fun with your visitors. I know I shouldn't complain because I don't have a much to lose as others, but, you know..........

I feel blessed to have found you lovely lot, we have so much in common.
Just weighed, no change from yesterday or Thursday so that's a result  Not having any bread today, my usual weekend treat and that should just about do it. Got celebration a tea party tomorrow and all the goodies will be home made so I definitely will be partaking

Thanks for indulging me last night, made me feel less alone in the naughty but nice stakes or should that be steaks?
Well done to you + your NBF ( the scales )
No need for the thanks for last night I for one was indulging along with you :like: and no I wouldn't let him open the second bottle of red tempting though as we've joined a wine club and now have loads on hand a short walk away (garage). Lol. :clover: Sue
