Delighted or Disappointed?

Oh - I've just posted on the "Who's Missing" thread @LilSmiler - but basically I'm in a similar boat!

Have just seen a post on FB though - "When everything feels like an uphill struggle - just think of the view from the top". Something to keep in mind (unless you're really unlucky like me and having slogged all the way up Ben Nevis, the mist came in and there was nothing to see at all!).

Chin up - at least you have someone who loves you in your life!!

Look, I'm only new to this but from what I have read a lot of people do better when they eat a decent meal using all their calories at either lunch time or dinner time. Whether or not I could last that long I have yet to find out! but after my disaster day yesterday when I tried to divide my calories up in to three meals and ended up being so miserable and hungry that by six o clock in the evening I ordered a pizza :oops: I have decided that I am going to try to leave my calories till my evening meal when I can sit down with the family and eat a decent meal and not feel deprived. I have found that I do better when I keep myself busy in the day. Anyway, just my two cents worth :heart:
@princessstarburst,

I have certainly found it to be true for me. When I was eating lunch for the first few months on this diet, I would be ravenous from 1:00PM through dinner, and hungry in the evening too.

When I started fasting from 7PM the previous night to 5:30 of the fast day, and ate all my food at once, I found myself far less hungry through the day, and the dinner, which I broke up into soup, main course, and a greek yogurt "dessert" felt like a real and very filling meal.

Counterintuitive, but it works for me.
Try having breakfast on the fast day and then waiting to eat dinner. Try to stick within the 500 cals, but if you need to do 600-700 it'll still be a lot less than a regular day!
