Sharing the good news
25 Nov 2014, 19:48
One year ago I reached the top of my acceptable weight range. (It took another 2 months to lose the last two pounds and reach goal.)
Since about Nov 25, 2013, my weight at weekly weighings has never been out of this 5 pound range.
To say I'm delighted is an understatement. I've really stuck to it - following the 6:1 plan for many months now, but I'm also well aware that I'm one of the lucky ones who finds sticking to it to be not that difficult. Yesterday I didn't fast, and I don't plan to make it up later this week as this is Thanksgiving week and there won't be a convenient time to fast. But I weighed this morning anyway, though I normally weigh the day after a fast, and skipping Monday did not do any harm.
I'm making my tracker public for a bit in case it helps inspire some strugglers. If you check it out, don't jump to the conclusion that I'm very thin. I am almost certainly the shortest of the thousands of forum members, and would actually have to weigh 10 pounds less before I'd look or feel "skinny".
Thanks, everyone! And good luck to the strugglers!

Well done, @wendyjane, you must feel so pleased, especially about being able to maintain within a given range. Congratulations! :D
Have you any tips you can share with others, about what worked well for you with 5:2, and perhaps about any other changes you have made to your way of eating or lifestyle to help with weight loss and maintenance, thanks!

That steady maintenance is so impressive, especially since you must have such a low tdee, being small. Congratulations!

@Wendyjane congratulations, we all hope to be able to write a post like you in a years' time. It can be done!!! :clover:
I am particularly impressed and interested, because you seem to be quite small (even a little smaller than me ) and your TDEE must be very low now unless you do an insane amount of exercise or are in your twenties.
My TDEE is only between 1300 - 1450 depending on level of exercise.
