Delighted or Disappointed?

Have had quite a "fat" weekend and looking all forward to my fasting day tomorrow! Never thought I would feel that way. Tomorrow will be my 4th fast, last week I managed to lose 1.2kg! which is about 3lbs for those who don't do kgs :) This week I'm tempted to do 3 fasting days, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Read in a magazine that you can do 1:1 if you wanted to really boost the diet, but thinking 3 times a week will be enough for me.

I can feel I can eat less already, and yet I was stupid enough to try and push it yesterday at breakfast, and ended up feeling sick for hours after :dazed: so from now on I'll admit to myself that I need to listen to my body and that its actually good for me to eat less

Hope the rest of you are feeling good about the lifestyle, I sure am starting to love it!
Me too. I really enjoy the feeling of resting my body so that it can recover from the over indulgences of the weekend. When I reach my target weight I definitely plan to move to 6:1 and make Monday my one fast day each week. Have a good week Snowsky, it is good to hear that you are enjoying this WOL.
My hubby and I are starting tomorrow. We are actually looking forward to it as well.
My hubby havent yet embrased the idea, which is a shame cus he really wants/needs to lose quite a lot of weight, but can only hope that when he sees my good results that he will give it a try.
hmm me too
and I have been a diet failure for years.
I have a big salad with dressing (55 cals) and 4 crackers (88 cals) to take for lunch and an m&s moussake (280 cals) for dinner. That dinner looks more substantial than the dinners I have had these last 3 weeks, so I'm looking forward to both the achievement and the full feeling after the dinner.
6.5 pounds down so far, and have only suffered for 6 days!
Good luck to all fasters, new and old tomorrow!
Fasting tomorrow also :). My husband and I are supporting each other. We have tried all the diets but found we always gained it back and then some. We now have a life plan and we are embracing this. Everybody supporting each other with advice and tips :)
Will be joining you too, my fourth fast tomorrow!
I am really looking forward to this one, today I had way too much roast chicken etc., for dinner and paying the price for it now, I feel totally stuffed and very remorseful! I think my appetite has naturally reduced itself a bit and have resolved not to panick eat!!

Tomorrow will be my first fast. I'm quite looking forward to trying this new way of relating to food. :)
Good luck, Swuddly!!
My 2nd fasting day tomorrow as well. Hope to improve on my performance from Friday when I went over by 100 calories. All stocked up on teas and some light soup for lunch. Looking forward to the challenge! Good luck!
I have just completed my fast today. Monday. But I enjoy this forum very much and it has ticked into Tuesday. I cannot agree more. After what now feels like a stodgy weekend ( which has in fact been my life) I really enjoy the Monday fast. Actually I enjoy the Thursday one too as it sets me up for a great start to the weekend. I also enjoy the Thursday weigh in. I find it harder to stop jumping on the scales than keeping to the 600 calories.
I have been a pig today! Feel so full I could roll down hill and flatpack a house if I landed on it!
Really glad tomorrow is another fasting day (my 3rd this week), but wanted 3 since I knew today would be a food orgie :o so ready for a fast day!
My 2nd fast day tomorrow!

I have planned food AND stuff to keep me busy, now i just have to drink more...im gonna look at using juice in my calories cos altho i like green/white tea i cant drink it all day...maybe 4 cups a day and thats maximum
I drink black tea as well! Cant manage on just white/green tea, dont like it that much, so drinking black tea!
I was going to fast tomorrow, but woke up feeling fasty, so Im doing it today! Ive tried loads of diets, what other diet makes you look forward to deprivation?!
