I went up one pound this weigh in. I made some mistakes, and went over 500 calories on my fast days. I also inhaled a whole bag of Hershey's kisses this week. Lesson learned and I am not going to beat myself up about it. Next weigh in will be better!

As you said, oh well....
Onwards and downwards next week.
Onwards and downwards next week.
You will do well on this WOE with that attitude because your weight will fluctuate and you will have days when things don't go quite to plan but you just have to get over it and keep going - as you have demonstrated! There are lots of reasons for regaining a pound and it will go as quickly as it came! Onwards and downwards!
I would add "that's life" sometimes.
I had a couple of left over Easter eggs - checked calories - really? That much??
I imagine Hershey kisses are much the same - soooo many delicious calories.
Good luck this week with shifting that pound

Good attitude! Maybe don't breathe quite so deeply in the vicinity of said Hershey kisses?
YOu'll get there, it can be a wee bit of a bumpy journey but that doesn't stop us still seeing the vista in front of us

For UK chocaholics - Hershey Kisses are disgusting to us, American chocolate is made with soured milk and tastes like sick - no threat to British diets!
Long live Lindt 90%!

Not had Hershey, but am no fan of American 'candy'.
Another vote for Lindt which you can get here. The chocolate in the middle east, even cadbury's etc, is made in Egypt and Dubai and is nasty nasty.

Ohhhh Lindor truffles are my weakness I don't like this thread on a fast day!!! Stop it !!
Ah yes, Lindor Truffles - used to be my weakness (still are to be honest) but I won't have them in the house now as I cannot open a box without eating the whole thing.
I have changed my chocolate eating habits considerably now. I agree with CreakyPete - Lindt 90% and any other really strong chocolate is the way to go as you only need 2 or 3 squares for a really tasty treat and no sugar rush to make you eat more than you really wanted
Just contemplating ordering a bar of 100% chocolate as I've never gone that far before - anyone have any recommendations?

I just discovered the Lindt 99% Excellence chocolate. This is surely the ultimate chocolate hit, it is very dark, quite bitter, but still smooth and melts slowly on the tongue and the taste lingers deliciously. It is not sweet but if it is the chocolate you like and not the sugar, it is quite 'affordable' on a fast day because a single small square is only 13 calories. A nice little treat to go with coffee...
I am 'lucky' in that I know several chocalatiers and even luckier that I am not a chocaholic.
Mind, I did say I'd act as a taster for a new choc-chilli product...

1lb is nothing. In fact, it may not even be fat.
sounds to me as though you were leaning wrongly on the scales !!!
It's very frustrating to gain. In my experience you don't need to do an awful lot wrong for your body to grab back the weight when you are in the middle of a diet. But a pound will come off again very quickly, and as has been said this is a way of life - rest of your life- kind of thing. You have exactly the right attitude, just get back on the horse - you'll do great!
