That's brilliant, well done! inspiring as I have just read the book today and tomorrow will be my first fast day.
Slow and steady wins the race !! Well done.

I know I have a long way to go but I really feel that I can stay on this plan indefinitely as it doesn't seem to take much effort compared with other diets.
However, my real test will come after next week though as we're having friends over from Australia. They're here for 2 months and during that time, we'll be going on 2 holidays. Not only that, but they've joined some Gourmet Club or other, which means good restaurants with lots of good food. Good grief! Wish me luck.
Life's curly fun, an extreme challenge! I sincerely wish you all the best with the ups and downs! From an Aussie slowfaster!
Congratulations from Australia!
The "watching what you eat" also on feed days i think its key to fast success on this way of life.

That's so encouraging and must be really helping your general health too!
had my first fast day yesterday - so much easier than I expected. I did four months with WW last year and although I lost weight OK I got absolutely obsessed by food, counting points morning, noon and night. 5:2 is much freer!
Feeling my stomach is pretty flat and empty, and a sunny day here too is sooooo good!

Great - Congratulations! I am sure your holiday will not jeopardise your beuatiful accomplishment. Gourmet restaurants tend to have great and various healthy food - I myself is lucky enough to be employed with a company having a gourmet canteen... I never find it hard to chose ingredients for a filling 250 ckal lunch - leaving 250 for a nice hot spicy and skinny vegetable soup for dinner. Good luck though
