Thrilled!
24 Apr 2013, 10:23
Been for my monthly visit to the nurse this morning and have lost another 8lbs. This means a loss of 27.5lbs since I started this plan on the 21st January. I've a long way to go until I feel normal again but I'm thrilled to have lost this much so far. Roll on the next three months! I'll have to start weighing myself now as I've been signed off but I think I'll still keep to monthly weigh-ins. I find the weekly fluctuations too off-putting.

I have to say that I've never before lost so much so quickly or so easily. Admittedly, I do watch what I eat on my feed days as well as the fast days, but I'm still finding this plan really easy. Yay, it works!

Well done! Almost 2 stone in 3 months, that's amazing. Like you, I'm trying to ignore the daily/weekly readings and focus on the monthly reading. It's great to hear success stories like yours.

That's really good news Annie and great that you've been signed off from the nurse too.
Weighing monthly is fine for me too, but I have a sneaky tape measure which can be very kind, especially if you measure in millimetres! :)
well done

It's really exciting to hear how well you are going.
I hope to join in your success story. I'm due for a Doctor visit very soon. Mind you, the doc's scales are merciless, I fear! I shall implore the scale gods to be as sweet as my home ones! Thanks for your palpable joy for us to share.

:rainbow: Fantastic news - well done you! Obviously doing all the right things as your weight is coming off over a period of time and the fact that the nurse has signed you off means that they are happy with your weight loss and general well being. I am very new (into my 3rd week) and so find postings like yours very inspiring.

Thanks for the congrats everyone. I hope my success helps to inspire other members to keep going and that they find it works for them too. I know I have a long way to go but I really feel that I can stay on this plan indefinitely as it doesn't seem to take much effort compared with other diets.

However, my real test will come after next week though as we're having friends over from Australia. They're here for 2 months and during that time, we'll be going on 2 holidays. Not only that, but they've joined some Gourmet Club or other, which means good restaurants with lots of good food. Good grief! Wish me luck.

Good job!! You can still do it even with company. Even maintaining your loss under those circumstances is a win!
