Delighted or Disappointed?

After what I thought was a good week, no change on the scales :?:

My thoughts on this.....

As I've only a small (ish) amount of weight to loose so it's going to be harder?!?

Maybe I'm being too careful, but on feed days I'm actually struggling to eat too much, as I get quite bloated

I've just checked my TDEE and it came out at 1591, I think that generally I've been eating 1200 - 1400 on a feed day, with probably going over that at weekend when wine and pudding are involved

Any suggestions????? :starving:

I know that you probably will think that I'm just panicking, but I have been trying to shift this illusive 7-10lbs for 5 years, so although I have not a huge amount of weight to loose, it means a lot to me to he able to get there
You lost the same amount as I did in the first week. I then didn't lose anything for the next two weeks, but I was very careful about what I ate. The loss in the first week is a lot of water and this balances out. Don't be disheartened, you will lose again soon, but maybe not for a couple of weeks. It is normal! I had very little weight to lose and still had an average of 0,7kgs per week lost in the end. You just need to be patient.
Thank you, it's nice to hear from someone who's been there
I am going to stick with it, it's 6 weeks to my 5th wedding anniversary and holiday, so my mini goal to see how I am then
Please don't be disappointed as there are so many other variables besides what you eat. I also think that if you are near your target weight it will take more time to lose weight.I have just completed my thrid week and I don't feel as if I have lost weight, but feel much livelier and can see a difference when I button up my skirt/trousers! I had been eating approx 1200 - 1300 calories a day before I began 5:2 and it's taking me a while to get used to the fact that I can eat more to reach my TDEE.
I agree, don't let it affect what you are doing, maybe try and have a few more cals on non fast days as maybe you aren't eating enough. Its not the time of the month is it!
