Jumping for joy :)
16 May 2013, 06:51
Over the last 2 weeks, I had to adapt my days to fit around my schedule. We went to Portugal for 3 days, we had visitors for the week-end and so on and so on. Previously on other diets, I would have thought 'Oh stuff it, I'll start again on Monday' . On our holiday week, I did one fast day before we left, and then 2 very low cal days, and 3 BLOW OUTS  This week normally today I would fast , but a friend is coming for lunch, I am preparing a healthy lunch . so I did yesterday instead - Wednesday seemed a little easier, so we'll see in the future. I seem to able to make sensible choices on food and am enjoying being in control, drastically have cut down on carbs, not intentionally but am looking at them as an add on, that I don't always need. I am missing my home bread, but with me with bread comes butter or dipping olive oil  I just seem to loose control, at the week-end when that corkscrew comes out  . Anyway enough of my ramblings, nearly 6 weeks in and I have lost 1 stone 4 lbs - Happy ? oh yes

Isn't it wonderful. None of that "we'll I've stuffed it so I might as well give up". And your weightloss is amazing.

Thanks Wineoclock, Love the name ;) - I'm quite enjoying too, not being a scales junky, on other WOEs I've weighed everyday, now I just weigh after a 'repair' day and I think I'm going to leave it every few weeks, enough time for my body to get over any misdoings and be a more stable weight :) x

Well done :victory: :victory: you must feel really great, even better in all that sun you must be having (I bet that lunch will be outside? Not like here  !)
It,s great to hear your attitudes to food are changing and without much effort (or any expense)  I would say, treat yourself to a cava or two to celebrate, if you've not done already!!

Your comment about "oh stuff it I'll start agin on Monday" is iso true. My average length of time on a diet is usually 3 to 4 weeks but I'm into week 11 and still finding this very easy. Like you if I'd a couple of bad days I would give up as I'd ruined it any way. On this diet I can give myself a big pat on the back twice a week after a fast and fit the social/ eat something naughty in the rest of the week. Well done by the way 1 stone in 6 weeks is impressive. Can you send us some sun? Warm preferably!
