WOW!
Not only I will congratulate you but I will also thank you for posting this and for giving me hope and courage! My thyroid went bonkers a few months ago and I am hoping that I can get it back to normal as soon as possible. I am on medication ad your story makes feel positive that I will do it one day! :-)
LOL Silverdarling - Basically says "I know what I'm doing, I know where I'm going and you don't want to mess with me." Last year I had a petition kid take one look at me and decide against approaching me with the clipboard.

Izzy, I'm sure hoping the fasting is healing my thyroid :-)

TML - I hope this works for you! You're welcome!!
That is great news Tracieknits & I hope your medication will continue to reduce with you. Being patient when nothing much seems to be happening is so frustrating so very well done for sticking with 5:2ing. You deserve to have progress. :like:
Thanks Isis!!
That's great news, Tracie. Have a great trip to Paris.
Well done tracie on all counts having worked your way through the (must not say it out loud) dreaded "P" as well as stimulated improvement in your thyroid and finding cute jeans
Win win win and you have Paris ahead of you ... Enjoy it all :) well deserved & inspiring
Congrats Tracie! You'll get there. The breakthrough is so psychologically important, I know. Glad your condition/medication is settling down...
Thank you for posting this and thank you for sticking to it and perservering. Inspiring!
Great news on all fronts Tracieknits. Well done. Look forward to hearing your knews of Paris and enjoying it vicariously. Im sure Id steer clear of a detrmined lady NYC game face.

And is there anyone here who trusts their DH with the money while on holiday????
Well done on your perseverance ! I have an underactive thyroid and progress is so slow it is sometimes difficult to keep motivated. Congrats on sticking with it.
Thanks everyone! I was hoping that the low thyroid folks would be inspired to stick with it. At a minimum, not gaining is fantastic news. But I really think the fasting has been making my thyroid healthier.
Great news Tracie :like: and I hope you have a lovely time in Paris - it is a beautiful city.
Tracieknits,

What an inspiration to other thyroid sufferers, you must be thrilled and quite rightly. Paris is a stunning city and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Ballerina x
Thank you!!!

Down another 0.2 pounds and actually wearing the jeans I bought for Paris :-) They're not even obscenely tight!
YAY!!! Jeans can be such a reward!!!
