Oh I really envy you going horse riding, MCC.
Not very common in Sydney!

My swimming goggles keep irritatingly letting in the water- NOW I know why!
I really hadn't occurred to me it could be the weight loss.
I just have to figure out how to tighten the straps!

How very careless of you! Hopefully it will be long gone by now and never come back. My thighs seem to be heading in the same direction :)

My extra chin has disappeared too, I didn't notice until I read this post, my arms are much thinner too. I'll be glad when the middle bit slims down to get everything in proportion.

Wonderful post MCC, and well done! :like: Isn't it great to notice all these differences?

Caroline, I know exactly what you mean!

Well done MCC! I'm beginning to notice that I have collar bones, which is nice.

And I thought it was my imagination that some shoes feel roomier, but maybe not!

Well done MCC you must be thrilled. I have noticed my watch is much looser and my boots are looser round my calves.

Those of you who drive will also notice at some point that you will need to move your seat forward a notch or two. As your bum gets slimmer it won't be pushing you as far forward as it used to.
My jeans and shorts are getting roomier, to the stage where some of them I can pull down without undoing the button.

I've been doing some sewing, altering some of my clothes which are too big for me now, My thimble fits again, I had to use a bigger one a while ago not realising that my fingers were getting fatter! Strange how 5:2 seems to affect everything in our lives.

Congratulations MCC  I hope every time you look in the mirror your reflection (minus extra chin) makes you smile.

I sew and I have been taking in all my hook and eyes on my skirts, oh happy chore! I love it when I rest my chin on my hand and I can feel a more defined jawline and cheekbone.

Coffeetime, I don't think I knew that thimbles came in different sizes before! Congrats on losing a thumb size (or more!). I have lost inches (4) in the middle, but I started out being a bigger size in the waist than in the hips or chest and I still am. It's just that they are all a size smaller. But I am definitely not complaining!
