Yipppppeee

It took a month but i knew i could do it. i moved 4 notches (400g) below the figure i just couldnt budge from. Good news it was 1kg drop in a 24 hour period and after a feast day. Ive never dropped after a feast day before. Must admit i had a harrowing day at work and a longer than expected meeting with a client at night and missed dinner as i got home at bed time, so dropped an amazing 1kg in 1 day! And today is fast day..!

so cant wait to see the scales tomorrow am. !
Sometimes its the small things in life that are the sweetest. Congrats!
Congrats on getting of your plateau. Onwards and downwards :)
It's Saturday morning after a fast day and yes!!! i made it to the next "decile" .. you know when the first 2 digits goes down by 1.. Over the moon. just got 4 deciles left and ill be perfect.. lol
Well done, Juliana!
Hi & well done everyone who is sticking to this WOE.

I too have had a whole month of inactivity as far as the scales are concerned...until today. Yippee I'm down another kilo. Still got loads to shift but finally I can breathe a small sigh of relief.

Happy weekend whatever you're doing.
Well I've put 100gms on LOL

I'm well chuffed as I was away on business for a week so that's a well-good result!!!!!!

Well done for falling off that plateau :like:

Away on business probably means lunches and dinners so your excused. lol anyway with this very flexible eating plan, you can just go back to the program you were on or even a bit stricter and all will be well again and falling.
Hooray! This gives me hope for the annoying plateau I have found myself on for the last month.
I read an article that proposed that a plateau is the time when you have lost the fat from the cells (some of them anyway) but the body keeps them around in case you need them again, by filling the cell with water. The plateau breaks when the body releases this water and allows the empty cell to die and be absorb by the body.

HI Julie, do you have a link for this article? Sounds logical to me
I am really hopeless at keeping links. I home educate my son and if I kept every link that's interesting I would need a PC the size of the NASA computers.

I'm encouraged to hear that. I've been doing 5:2 for four weeks and have lost 6lbs (and 3 inches around my waist) but nothing at all in the last two weeks! I only weigh myself every two weeks. Very disappointing when I got on those scales yesterday especially as my husband has dropped 13lbs over the same period. Don't you just hate it when that happens? I'm being really careful not to binge on my 'feast' days although we do eat out and entertain at home quite often. I'll struggle on to lose the next 14lbs. I was hoping to achieve this by the end of August but maybe I'm being too optimistic :?:
