10 weeks in and 5 kilos lost!!!
29 Jun 2013, 09:44
Got to the 5 kilo mark with my weigh in this morning, I am so pleased, I am seeing numbers I haven't seen since before I had my kids and I honestly feared I would never see again

That puts my weight loss at 500g per week average, which really surprised me as I have had weeks where I have gained, weeks where I stayed the same and weeks where I lost a lot...I guess that shows that for me 5:2 is working exactly as it should!

Thanks everyone for all the questions and answers, all of the success stories, and just the motivation to keep going at times when I doubted that this would work. :like:

Now I'm off to buy a wetsuit for my river swimming next week, I still don't relish the thought of walking about in a skin tight suit but I feel much better about it that I did 10 weeks ago!
Excellent!

I've got to don a wetsuit to do some snorkelling next weekend...mine was too big when I tried it a few weeks ago, I think it won't keep me warm at all, but don't want to splash out (ha ha) on a new one while I'm still losing weight. Still cold water exposure is supposed to be good for you (cold hormesis). Brrrr
That is really great - Well done Nicky :like:
