I am still losing an average of 3lb a week (I have a lot to lose!) but I have finally lost the morbid bit - I am just obese!! :victory: :victory: :victory:

Well done indeed! These arbitrary definitions have a surprisingly powerful effect on the way we think about ourselves (and others think about us too in some cases). Although your body won't suddenly be dramatically different, psychologically I think there is a big difference.

well done- you must feel great and it is a briliant achievement.
I personally hate the terminology as I feel that psychologically it is quite damaging, but hey ho, they didn't ask me ! Would not use it when I was doing health clinics and always just pointed to the chart saying 'your weight puts you within this centile' and then take it from there. Hope I didn't damage anyone!
Great going from you - :victory:

Congratulations Vicki! :like: Well done on reaching such a significant milestone! I agree with Caroline that things like this have a surprisingly powerful effect psychologically; I know for me personally dropping from 'obese' to 'overweight' was a big deal and gave me renewed motivation to continue. All the best for the next bit!

That sums it up really well, I feel on top of the world, have broken the 20 stone barrier as well so it feels like a huge win! This woe is amazing! :victory: :victory: :victory:
