I have just completed my first full week of 36 hour zero-cal, liquid only fasts followed by a 12 hour feeding window and I am beyond thrilled!!! I did 3 fasts and didn't cheat once! I'm an all-or-nothing sort of person, and having everything so black and white is just so easy! The fasts were so easy I can't believe it. And on feed days the lack of guilt at eating normal portions of my favourite foods is wonderful. I had a doughnut today with my afternoon cuppa and didn't feel at all guilty because I was still sticking to the rules! I know I can't eat that kind of food every feed day, but knowing I can have it every now and again without feeling guilty is really exciting. I wish I'd found this WOE many, many years ago. I know I have found the weight loss solution for me!!!!!

Yay! Sounds like you are going to like this!
Well with 3 fasts a week you actually might be able to have a donut every non-fast day...but you might find you don't want it:)
Best of luck on your journey.

well done fastingqueen! Sounds like you have it sussed.
It is a great way of eating for all or nothing types
and it's a great way of eating for some and a wee bit types too.
Seems to suit most!
Hope it continues to be easy and you see the results you want.
It's not an express though, average weight loss is slightly under a pound a week, dependent on how much you have to lose.
Take your measurements, everywhere and keep a check on them as thye can be kinder than the scales sometimes!

@JanegI actually have more weight to lose than my goal weight (73kg to lose vs 68kg goal!!!) so at the start I am expecting about 1kg a week average loss. And I have measured every body part I could manage (even my neck as someone else suggested!) so I have a second way of measuring my weight loss beside the scale. Thanks for the advice.
There are quite a few folk with goodly amounts to lose, so you're not alone. You can do filtering in the tracker to see what you can expect to lose and the tracker gives you an expected date for the goal. Hope all goes well for you
Hi @fastingqueen
I made that exact statement myself a few weeks into my journey because it is so sustainable for people like us with loads of weight to shift well done and I'm so pleased that you're enjoying it that will be very helpful in the up and coming months and your weightloss will provide you with the motivation to carry on in a downwards direction

Don't forget to have some days where you don't worry about IF as we need to have some blow out days. Just a thought. All the best though and hoping for a smooth downward trajectory for your weight loss and yes it is wonderful
Well done Fastingqueen, and so you should be delighted.
Great news Fastingqueen and so glad that you are embracing this WOE and having such success.
Hi fastingQueen, if you think it is good now then just you wait til you start losing some serious weight, you will be uncontrollable with delight, well done

Sound like you've got this sussed. It would appear that those who have seen the most success have days where they eat below TDEE and days when they have blow outs.
I'm planning to low carb during the week and for either Friday or Saturday to be treat day. That is essentially how caveman did it.
