YAY!! No longer obese!
12 Nov 2013, 00:05
Today I dipped below a BMI of 30, which means I am leaving the ranks of the obese and joining the ranks of the overweight

I started this diet around 6 weeks ago when my doctor had a serious conversation about how my weight was affecting my health, and suggested the Fast Diet as a good option for weight management. It has working very well for me, especially with the flexibility it affords.

Anyway, I still have quite a bit to go in order to achieve a healthy weight, but this is certainly a significant milestone for me.

Congrats ma3xiu1. That is great news. Overweight even sounds better. I'm in the overweight and was in the obese range too so I know the feeling. It is certainly good to be heading in the right direction for good health. Sounds like you have a good doctor supporting you too Good luck with your journey

That's fantastic, well done ma3xiu1! :like: I started 5:2 in the obese category eight months ago and am just about to drop into the 'normal' range so I know how good it feels to see your progress in such a concrete way. Great to also hear there are doctors out there who are willing to recommend 5:2! The best of luck to you. :clover:

Congradulations on being overweight. I bet you feel as though you are thin. I achieved this several weeks ago and was thrilled. So thrilled that I decided to take a little break. I can report that I have only gained one pound eating whatever crap that I have desired. However I no longer feel thin. I am ready to move forward to a healthy BMI but... no matter how hard I try I cannot complete a fast. I am perplexed by this because I was quite successful with fasting in the past. Maybe I should just wait until after the holidays but I know in my heart I must get back on track.

Well done indeed! Lucky you having a doctor who is "in the know"! You must feel pleased with your results so far and if you can on it'll just keep getting better and better!

Good luck!
