Delighted or Disappointed?

It has taken me a long time since I seem to be following the slow route but I weighed myself this morning & have lost another 1 & 1/2 lbs! So since Christmas I have finally reached my first goal & have lost 28lbs
I now weigh 13st 12 lbs having been at my most heaviest after Christmas 15st 12lbs. I had never been that weight before & only weighed myself because of how I looked in a Christmas photo & was so shocked that I started online with the Rosemary Conley diet & lost 8lbs then at the end of January I discovered 5:2ing. Fortunately the Radio Times had an article about The Fast Diet & thank goodness here I am after finding this wonderfully supportive group of people on this forum. So another first for me because I had never been on a forum before. Thank you Moogie, Caroline & anyone else who was involved for starting this forum in January because it is life changing :like: :like:
Congratulations!!! Two stone is my next big marker - you must be thrilled - and I echo your thoughts on how fantastic this forum is <3
Well done, that is a fantastic achievement, you must be so proud!
Brilliant! Well done !!
 Well done isis
That's an amazing loss and it doesn't mater how long it takes its OFF
Forever because of this brilliant '' magic '' WOL we've found :victory:
and of course this fantastic forum where we all come to for support
and sometimes to kill an hour on our fastdays to keep us going.
Congratulations on your goal reached today and enjoy that goal
Because you've earned it  Sue.

Thank for the support you give to me and many more of us :star: :star:
Excellent milestone, congratulations! :0)
@Isis that is truly fantastic. And echo what Sue.Q says, it doesn't matter how long it takes #slowlosersclub

I'd agree with all the above - and congrats - I sometimes think people (in general) get too impatient to see rapid weight loss and then disappointed when it doesn't happen but I think 2st since Christmas is a lot of weight to have lost and you should be really chuffed!
That's fantastic! Well done! x
Thank you everyone it has really given me the incentive to keep going. So the next goal is to lose another stone & then get my BMI below 30
That's fantastic, you must feel so pleased with yourself!! I have many stones to shift but it's great to hear from people like you to give us motivation!!
Hurray!  It's a great feeling isn't it? :like:
I am losing at about the same rate as you. I reached my 2 stone mark a few weeks ago but have lost my way a bit since then due to big party and hols. :snail: Still hoping to reach my original target of 2 1/2 stone off by my 'fastiversary' on November 12th but think it will be tight. :struggle:
Still there s no great hurry and I can see a new target looming on the horizon. :rainbow:
Congratulations hon! This is amazing- keep up the good work!!!
:victory: Well done Isis, 2st down, that's really great.  You're living proof that all those odd little lbs add up, if we just stick at it. I bet you feel really good in yourself. Just imagine how great you'll look in this years Christmas photos.
