Getting Sweaty! Exercise & Fitness

I stumbled across this article by Dr. Moseley himself:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/artic ... ought.html

It's an interesting article and was wondering what others think of this approach, and that would it be suitable along-side a 5:2/4:3 diet?

If the 60 minute sprinting theory is true, then that'll be a real delight for me personally, as there is a hardly used walkway around the back of my home which I would gladly sprint forward and backward for about five minutes.

Share you thoughts!

EDIT: I just noticed someone else made a thread about the same thing... oh well, I still find it interesting. :)
Good spot Owen and thanks for taking the time to share with us. Yes it seem that HIT is the thing to be doing at the moment. MM has been doing the rounds promoting it. If you buy the book make sure you go to amazon via this forum above "support the 5.2 diet forum" as a bit of money comes back to the forum.
Hi there,
I saw the exercise program and have bought the book and have been trying to do this type of exercise. The article sums up the theory very neatly and yes would fit in very well. I have found that I have no problem doing cardio exercise on a fast day and combine that with weights on a food day. I don't find that I get any hungrier during the day if I do cardio first thing. As I start work at 6am it means I don't have to get up at stupid-o'clock to go to the gym before work either!!
