Nothing we didn't already know, really, but I spotted this item on the BBC website, and thought it may be of interest.

My only form of exercise is walking and not only do I get the physical benefits, but the feelgood factor is a definite plus.

I am addicted I do believe. Jazzercise class, mon, weds, fri and sat, then couch to 5k training the other days, better than chocolate.

Saw this on the news today and I have to say it ticks my boxes. Earlier this year I had a 3 month bout of sciatica. Doctor said take the painkillers and walk. Ok so I did walk - a lot, even though I could have cried but I also asked my pilates instructor for help. She gave me a sheet with some very gentle exercise which I did for 5mins morning and evening and that solved the problem very quickly! I have no doubt that pills have there place but too many people do not take responsibility for their own health.
