Looking for ideas please.
I was operated on last year for scoliosis (twisting spine)before, my spine resembled an "S" but is now lovely and straight, thanks to titanium rods screwed the length of it, fixed to my pelvis
This is no way a sob story  , just a way to explain that now, 1 year on, the surgeon says I can do any form of exercise as long as it doesn't involve bending...can bend at the knees but not hips.
Any of you clever people got any ideas.
I have never done
Zumba
Tai Chi
Line dancing
Are any of these suitable, in your opinion?
A bit of a strange post, i know.....
Hey Lornameg!
I can empathise! I had surgery for scoliosis and multiple disc problems 2 and a half years ago,and I don't know myself now!!

Have you considered Pilates? I found it brilliant.
Hi I'm not really sure about any of this but Callanetics seem to be making a come back and there members on here who do use this along with 5:2
Probably some ''expert'' will pop in and really give you the help you need
Good luck with everything :clover: Sue
I don't know what kind of classes would be any good, but if you want to exercise at home you could look at Leslie Sansone fitness DVDs. Her exercises are based around walking on the spot. Some of her stuff can be found on YouTube, this is her 15min/1mile workout.

Yes, I recommended Lesley Sansone yesterday, too! You can 'walk' at home and build up at your own pace.
My dogs recognized the music and it was one glorious madhouse of walking and barking!
