@carieoates I'll be happy to share with you but the weather here is very discouraging for tomorrow and today was scarily windy, so the stats won't be very impressive.

A question about the Heart rate monitor function, for anyone with a Surge or Charge HR-
Does it somewhere show you a graph of the variations through the day? if so where to I access it please?
*EDIT - Found It*

Give it a few days to a week to get to know you, wear it in bed, it feels odd at first may even feel uncomfortable, but the silent alarm as fab, and set the sleep sensor to normal as the graph in my opinion is rubbish on sensitive.
The resting heart rate is enlightening.

Can you tell me where you found it @sians?

I committed to do my daily step target (13,200 per day) EVERY day in May and so far so good. Nice to be no 4 on the leaderboard atm. Let's hope I can keep it up!
Grr, I thought I'd charged my Flex last night, but it's about to die and I'm away from home without the charger. Grr, grr! as I'm walking lots!
Grr indeed @Golarne, very frustrating!
Today Gale Zoran (which is apparently what the bad weather of the last few days was called) has gone and Spring has returned, so I took my new Charge HR for it's first walk. I'm really enjoying it and it does give me lots of new data to play with. I had to delete the Sleep record for Tuesday, which was the day it arrived, it showed that from 00.01 on Tuesday morning till 13.35 when I started wearing it as 'Restless Sleep'.
16,551 steps so far today

Hi @Golarne that has happened to me in the past and is vvv frustrating but you can go in and manually log steps and activity if you want to keep your stats up to date. Just go to the home page, then log and activities. Scroll down and you will be able to enter what you did.
I'm still not ready to increase my steps goal to more than my current 7,750 but at least I am doing that most days! I do admire all you hearty walkers - I just wished that I enjoyed walking more than I do. Our new dog, Penny, is ensuring that I go out every day but we are having to build her muscles up slowly - rather like mine really!
I'm on a walking holiday on the Isle of Wight for a few days so I expect to move up the leaderboard. Today's walk was billed as a 12 mile walk but was nearer 13 and tomorrow's is billed as 13 miles but who knows. We are staying with HF Holidays who are a specialist walking holiday company who offer guided walking, and have done for a very long time, in fact today's leader's parents were actually walk leaders in the 1960's.
Oh and they feed us very well......oops

I had noticed that you are doing far more steps than before, didn't realise that you had a new dog. How lovely for you to have a new companion and a real reason to get out of the house.
I'm posting to get Fitbit back into the active topics. I hope we are all being too busy feeding our fitbits to sit down and type.
I got a new Charge HR for my birthday, which coincided with a 3 day walking holiday on the Isle of Wight - 3 days of concerted walking got me well up the leaderboard. After ordering the Charge HR I read all sorts on the fitbit forums about reactions to the wristband, poor battery life etc etc, which put me off a bit. I can report that it has been fine, I love not having something clipped to my bra, I love the sleep monitoring.
How's everyone else enjoying May?

So far, so good this month. My dog is happy and so am I. I have the Fitbit Charge and I love it!
So, as of May 23, here is where I am:
1 day 20K
5 days 15K
11 days 10 K
Total of 17 days over 10K so far.
And 7 more days to go. Wahoo!

Mine (surge) has a wicked GPS @SianS, does yours have GPS ? and as I've joined the running clan I've also moved up the ranks.
There's a great FB community called Run Mummy Run. It's a very active busy group with loads of support and guidance it's an invite only group so was flattered when my Nate invited me on. Anyone else here interested. Some could do with being 5.2 'd as they have trouble running empty, unlike me and you also.
Fist park run yesterday really hurt me...seriously felt like an old lady with arthritis this morning as I stumbled downstairs. Went for a 5k walk to loosen things up and it's a lot better, think I may do a 5k run tomorrow to finish the weekend off (maybe it will finish me off too)
Also went to aldi for running socks, compression socks, Sunnies, jacket(too small) and gloves for obstacle race end of June.
