muscle fatigue?

how do you beat muscle fatigue on days after fast day? I do balance which is a yoga/pilates/tai chi workout class, might sound light and easy, but you choose your resistance of your body weight you load onto your muscles. I generally burn 500cals in a class. The more I fast and lose weight though the worse the shakes and inability to push myself as far is showing on days after fasts. Has anyone found this and overcome it? How?

I am fatigued after fast day so I eat a bit of carb if I am finding it too much and if I have to be productive. I figure fast done back to normal. But I am no expert here. Others have talked about shakes and the general message was provide your body with the energy it needs eg a banana maybe but do you push your self. I try to be in tune with my body and listen to its messages.

I think there are a lot of people who exercise here on forum you will give better info

How early are you exercising on your non-fast days? Maybe try to get a meal in at least one hour before you exercise. Though I think exercising in a fasted state means you will burn more fat.

For me it depends on what I'm doing. I wouldn't do a long run without a meal first. I do 6-10k, HIT, and weight training fairly regularly in a fasted state. Sometimes I feel like I'm dragging, but usually it's ok.

I have all my calories at the 24 hour mark (evening of fast day) so on the morning after a fast day I don't feel my body feels like it missed anything since I try to walk before breakfast anyway.

I asked pretty much the same question the other day. The answer seems to be to have some carbs an hour or more before exercising.

I've had toast with banana and honey or fruited toast the last two post-fast days, about 90 mins before I exercised. It has made all the difference; I'm not fatigued and my digestion is ok.
