Thank you! With a bit of luck this is why my weight loss stopped completely for the last 3 weeks since starting the 30 day shred... I was getting a bit disheartened but hopefully if i just keep going things will get back on track...
Thank you for the article mummybunny, I started ripped in 30 last week. It has 4 different workouts to do 1 per week. First week I gained 400 grams , now I started the second week workout , it's different and harder so after reading this I won't be surprised if I gain again. However my waist measurement went down last week so hopefully even if I have a gain I will lose centimetres.
Wow, that's an excellent article. Thanks so much for posting it. I gained 5 lbs during the week I ramped up my weights programme - I was so discouraged I nearly gave it up again. Glad I didn't as those lbs came down and then some. But this article properly explains why weight "gain" occurs in the first place.
Thank you, thank you, thank you
I am on day 7 of the shred and my 6th fast day. Exercise is not something I have ever bothered with before and I had high expectations of the double effort! I was so disheartened that my weight has actually crept up a pound since last week.
I thought I might be over eating on a feed day; I love naughty food, donuts, cake, cheese, wine and really have been avoiding them all the time. (Well, not the wine, maybe just the cakes and donuts) I couldn't face the prospect of denying myself even more.
This article has really helped - I will keep 5:2 and shredding until the end of next week before I start to worry.
Right, the poached eggs and asparagus soldiers for tea were yummy, I'm off to shred a bit too
