Woohoo! Well done shoobie!!
That is really good, well done. I love walking so I think for someone who has trouble doing it, this must feel like a real achievement, which it is. I look forward to you telling us how you walk for miles every day, it will come if you stick at it and do't push yourself. Listen to you body and good luck,

Well done on achieving 1.1 miles.
You are right. Every journey starts with that first step.
I hope the arthritis will get less painful as the weight starts to go and I too look forward to reading how the distance is increasing in your future posts.
Good luck.

Well done! My OH used to complain after a couple of blocks but now he can (almost) out walk me! It does get better and easier.
Well done !
Good for u...the start of a whole new you
Well done, shoobie1! A little over a year ago I started in a similar fashion, by walking a couple of miles one day, the next day I started taking the stairs instead of the elevator (third floor office cubicle, completely winded and sweating and heart racing the first few weeks!), a week later I found myself at the gym using the treadmill on a walking pace and playing with the incline and speed and such...
It gets better and easier -- keep at it!

Well done shoobie1, thats fantastic!
Well done I started that way too. I highly recommend you get a pedometer. It's a great motivator. I have a fitbit and it has helped me get fit and off my bum loads.
I'm so happy for you Shoobie,
Well done you!
This is a wonderful journey we are on and there's no rush. Im glad you are enyoying every step.
After releasing 5 kgs I was amazed at how easier the hills on my regular walk were to do- very little huffing and puffing compared to before 5.2. I absolutely love it!
