Gosh, half of those exercises would kill me LOL but hats off to those who can do them. I find squats etc a bit too high-impact for my joints.
I actually do Callanetics for much of my body toning, does anyone else do them? Bit of an 80s throwback - I remember when the videos first came out and I used to do them with my mum!
Anyway I heartily recommend it for any members who struggle with higher-impact movements. It's fairly safe for various health conditions (such as back problems) so long as you listen to your body and never force it to do anything that feels uncomfortable. And there are lots of modifications for back problems, or if you are elderly etc. Or you can abbreviate the workouts once you've got the basic moves under your belt. It's an oldie but a goodie! (and a bit of a killer! - but not in a frenetic way, the movements are slow and gentle but you really feel it the day after).
Even though I'm still well-padded with body fat, there's definitely some good muscle tone under there. I've been doing it at least once a week during my whole weight-loss journey, so that's over a year now. I just do as much as I can even if I'm having a 'crash' day with my illness. Sometimes I have to hold onto my bed for support. Other times I even do half the exercises ON my bed LOL.
I found one of the books in a second-hand shop, but I've owned the video before so already knew what I was doing pretty much. Amazon has the dvds and books I think if anyone's interested.
Sorry - I sound a bit like an advert. It has really worked for me though

And I hope I haven't hijacked the thread too much - just wanted to offer a gentle alternative
