I'm fasting today, still full up after a big roast dinner last night so should be pretty easy! Good luck all Wednesday fasters :0)
I'm in today. I had one of those pig out days yesterday for no reason, so glad to be fasting today.
Hi All

I'm doing a kind of full fast apart from a banana at 6pm before my body combat class (this will be my 2nd full fast so to speak) and have to say it wasn't as hard as i had imagined! Althou i was in a rush to go to bed for the morning to arrive - yet oddly enough once morning arrived i wasn't hungry so lasted until around 1030am til breakfast :)
Unusual to have so many of us on a Wednesday !
I'm in! Possibly going out later but might not so will liquid fast anyway. If we do go out I can keep to 500 cal but just wanted a boost this week as didn't lose anything last week
Oh so hungry and have been for the past few hours. WHY???
I'm in today! 2nd fast of the week after a bit of a pig out yesterday! I actually hit goal weight earlier this month, however at V festival Friday-Monday this week then it is birthday week, so hoping to pre-empt the gain!

Just coffee, water, and maybe a sugar-free red bull to get me through the day! Looking forward to my cereal in the morning already - nice big bowl planned :D
Thursday morning and am hoping to stick to liquid again today, same as Monday. See how I go during the day. Had a birthday this week and have eaten far more than usual. Sunny and cold here and lots to do so will keep warm and busy.

All the best to LFers today! :geek:
Did you make it katamac?
I succumbed to sweet chilli kebabs last night, oops! I was just jealous as my partner had them for dinner and couldn't resist, was surprised as it didn't leave me wanting more even though it was only about 200 cals worth. So no liquid fast, but not bothered as weight loss is creeping it's easy downwards!
Well what a disaster yesterday. When the family were having dinner and I was supposed to be making the bed back up I sneaked a rice crispie square, which lead to two slices of cheese, then a packet of pickled onion crisps, a bounty bar, a packet of cheddars and two squares of good chocolate  . What is going on???

I think there are two things, firstly, the schools holidays are making fasting harder and secondly, I've been doing 4:3 since the middle of July. Although I am seeing a steady 1lb loss per week I do find it difficult. On 4:3 I seem to eat an awful lot more rubbish. I've been doing Mon, Wed, Fri and I don't think there is enough time in between fasting days compared to doing 5:2, Mon & Thurs.

As I've got a challenge on with my sister where we weigh in at the end of August I will continue on 4:3 until then (I can't let her win  ). After that I'll re-asses and perhaps go back to 5:2 or maybe see it through until I get to target weight which is less than a stone away.
Uh oh! Must've been something in the air yesterday wildmissus! I too am finding the holidays a bit more challenging, but mostly because my 5 year old is beginning to notice when I'm not eating as she likes us to all eat together! Not long until your challenge will be up, do you know how your sister is doing or what method she's using yet?
Liquid fasting today! This will be a hard one for me as I am off work today - I do better fasting when I am busy at work. Also, as my only day off, I do a lot of the food prep for the week today and baking cookies to take to my son at college. I really do manage to do this without nibbling, but I have my kids help with the actual baking part once the dough is made while I go for a walk. :p We'll see if I make it through today that way.

Harder will be this evening when my daughter wants to go to Orange Leaf - it's a frozen yogurt 'bar' place where you make your own 'sundaes' with a full line of toppings and a wide variety of frozen yogurt in soft-serve, do-it-yourself machines - with her friend after dance class. As she's too young to drive or have money, mummy gets to take the girls there and sit around while they eat their frozen yogurt. eep! I might take a little walk around the shopping center then, too. heh.

Wish me luck!
Woke up with a hungry growling tummy this morning and I am NEVER hungry in the morning! This is going to be a challenging fast day for me but it is almost 3 pm here so it is passing by quickly. Did a lot of grocery shopping and gift shopping today so I was busy anyway. Have a wake to go to tonight and really hope my stomach doesn't growl during it.

Not sure why I am so hungry today when yesterday I was barely hungry all day and had to force myself to eat something since I knew I would be fasting today. Should have just done it yesterday but who knew I would be ravenous today?? LOL
I'm in for today. Had last bit of food yesterday (14th) at 10:00PM. Had 1C black coffee this morning but will stick with nothing but water until tomorrow.
Yes Mariposa, made it! Did break my fast earlier than usual at about 5am, but had been awake since 3am (looking after a friend's cat who decided that early hours were a great time to walk around meowing.)

I'm going for a fast today too, but will break it at dinner time. Trying to break through a plateau. I'm wondering if my body "likes" this weight, because it's what I was for a few years (before the climb last year to 8kgs more). The plus is I have lots of clothes for all seasons that fit me this size, but I really want to get 8-10kg less.
