:grin: Who's in this week?

Caught up with a friend who I haven't seen in ages, and the first things she said was "wow, you've lost so much weight"! It's funny, because that always makes me think "Oh, did I look really fat before?" because in my head, I've always just been a little bit podgy, not really fat. Hahaha, I have lost 9kg since the start of the year though, and only just into my "normal" range now, so apparently I was more than just podgy! :confused: :grin:
That's always struck me - if you think I look fab now - what did you use to think? !

I'm in today. I've been on a plateau for 2 months now.I knew my 10 day hols would be an issue, but this is ridiculous. So planning 2 LFs this week, low carb otherwise, and no booze till Friday.

I'm in today. I have a feeling I'm going to be really cold today.
Minumonline - hang in there, I had a 3 month plateau, which I've only just come off, which seemed to just go on and on and on! Good luck :)
I think that's why a lot if people refrain from commenting on anyone's weight loss - there's too much potential for offending!

I'm in too, have been a bit lax with my 'normal' days due to trips away and family birthdays so need to get back on track. I'm within five kilos of my lowest target now so pretty happy already!

Hi. Sorry to ask but still fairly new here. What do you all drink? Water? Black coffee? Was thinking of giving it a whirl this week as my recommended fast day calories are between 350 and 500 so possibly a way to manage calories in a different way. What benefits have you found?
I'm in today, have stuffed my face all weekend with no restraint and feel like I've undone all my good work last week! Oh well, onwards and downwards! Good luck all :0)
I drink black coffee, water and diet coke. Good luck if you give it a go, wouldn't recommend it until you've adjusted to fasting first and only having one meal a day. I find it easier than having a 500 cal meal as that makes me hungrier and also saves me an extra 1000 cals over the week, doesn't seem to have speeded weight loss, but has helped make it more consistent. I'm also hoping it increases the health benefits of fasting as an added bonus!
Thank you Mariposa. I'm now in the swing of fast days and have found I can go for quite some time without food. I have a tough couple of days ahead so I might try it mid week when things smooth out a bit.
I'm in today. I was planning to fast yesterday, but then got an unexpected visit from a friend and quite a lot of cake was eaten! I had lasted till 3 as well. The new revised plan is now Monday and Thursday.

Yes, I'm in today. Will be doing a liquid fast and same again on Wednesday. Feel like I have over eaten over the weekend so will make the effort to do it correctly. This way of life is so easy because it's flexible, I usually do Tuesday and Thursdays but because of certain committments I changed it for today and Wednesday.

Supposed to try first liquid fast today but I have a nasty cold started, so who knows. Going to try hot water, lemon, ginger and paracetamol.
I'm fasting today, just got in from work to be confronted by a huge tub of jelly babies which was rather cruel of my other half! Have hidden them away and busy cooking dinner (for everyone else) and sorting out bath/bedtime. Been an awful week with as my baby has a cold and so has been up all through the nights, but soldiering on with work as in the daytime he seems ok so he's still been going to nanny's! I'm exhausted though and feeling the chill again today! Ugh! Off I go and looking forward to hopefully a better nights sleep!
Broken sleep horrible, really empathise,

Fasting again today, and it's a funny one where I keep forgetting I'm fasting and think "oh, I'm hungry, better eat" before remembering, oh that's right, I'm fasting!
