I looked but couldn't see a thread for this week yet so here goes. I'm doing my usual liquid fast Monday, anyone else joining me? It's already almost dinner time Downunder so not too much longer to go. Have a successful day everyone!
Morning - I'm in today. I like Monday fasting.

Good luck everyone
I am fasting today. First time trying liquid only so tomorrow evening I find out if I have survived the day!!
Yes, I'm in too! Monday's definitely a good day to fast - I actually look forward to it. Thursday will be my 2nd day of 36ing this week. Good luck everyone
I'm most definitely in. We had our new kitchen fitted at the weekend, yeepee! It did however mean lots of take aways - Friday, a pizza party pack, Saturday, Indian, Sunday, chip shop! The family will be on microwave meals tonight as the cooker and hob will be getting put in today. Roll on tomorrow for proper food.
I'm in today and Thursday this week. 1 week to the marathon but this is going so well - I'm in reach of my goal and am very excited. Coffee til dinner, a bovril and then another coffee later tonight. yippee. Woke up hungry though and going to keep busy til my German class later and work very hard
Glad your kitchen's almost up and running Wildmissus. I had a curry with friends last week and it blew away the 2 days of 36ing that had done  Guess you'll be cooking lots of goodies in the new kitchen - once oven and hob are connected  x
Thanks Suchard. BTW, I used my soup maker a couple of times. As I had limited worktop space I just bought a bag of ready chopped casserole veg, put them straight in the soup maker with stock, herbs and seasoning and hey presto 21 mins later a smooth veg soup for lunch. I really have a notion to make scones. Whilst I cook I don't bake but with all the programmes on TV at the moment I can see me getting into baking.

I am choked up with the cold today and even though I've been putting food back into my new cupboards I haven't felt like eating it at all, so just herbal tea and bouillon for me so far.
Congrats on the liquid fast. This is my first day and I'm doing shakes for breakfast and lunch then chicken salad for dinner. I'm in California so it's just lunch lime here and many hours to go.
What shakes are you having?
Hi LDR

Most of us on this thread started with 500 cals a day fasts, moved towards having our meal in the evening, and then gradually experimented with not eating an evening meal, as it tended to make us feel more hungry, so we just have tea/coffee/water during the day, and some have soup.I don't have shakes at all. I tend to liquid fast on a Monday, then have a 500 cal evening meal on my second fast of the week (Weds or Thurs)

Hope your first fast day went well, and you enjoyed the chicken salad !
I'm here today too. I had intended yesterday but had a bad headache and ended up doing 16:8 instead. It's almost 6:30pm here and I haven't eaten since 5pm yesterday, so not long to go now.

On my liquid fasts, I usually drink only green tea but for the past couple I've been having some chicken stock drinks too.
First fast if the week today, only managed one fast day last week so was worried how I'd cope today, but it's not been too bad. Having a draining couple of weeks so hoping half term next week will perk me up a bit! Good luck all :0)
I'm liquid fasting today, nothing but tea to keep me going at work. Any one else today?
I'm on Wednesday and still no fast for me yet this week! I didn't do my usual Monday fast (pupil free day and I knew hanging out with my kidlets would involve ice cream yum yum) and felt really sluggish playing indoor soccer compared to playing after 24 hours of no food. I then got a migraine (not the headache bit, but the vision, tingles, felt like I'd been hit by a truck) so that wiped out Tuesday and even this morning I wasn't fully okay, so opted not to fast.

So will see how I feel in the morning, and either fast Thurs or Fri, and leave it as a 1 fast week. Don't think I've done that before, but then again don't think I've been feeling shite since starting fasting at the beginning of the year.
2nd liquid only fast of the week approaching for me - had a good 36hr fast on Monday - no temptations crossed my path and all went swimmingly. Last couple of days have been good too. I've been out tonight with girlfriends (yes again!) didn't overdo it as much as the curry last week (at least I don't think so). Happy to be doing liquid only fast tomorrow and looking forward to seeing what the scales say on Saturday. However, I'm off into the depths of darkest Herefordshire tomorrow to see my mum for a few days - travelling home Saturday, so won't actually weigh in again until Sunday morning. In the meantime I'll have to face a barrage of baked goodies, ranging from Irish Brack through to Victoria Sponges - wish me luck, my mother's baking can be hard to resist!!! Good luck to all those doing a 36hr liquid only fast on Thursday/Friday - hope all goes well for you :clover:
