Anyone else liquid fasting this week? I'm in for my usual Monday cleanse, I have come to really enjoy starting my week with a water fast (with a bit of black coffee thrown in).

Wishing you all a successful day and week!
I'm in today - I'm feeling rough after overdoing it - looking forward to being 'repaired'. I like Monday fasting too.
I'm in too. Got a late game of indoor soccer tonight (after 8pm) which is annoying, much prefer playing earlier, and getting an early night.
I'm in too I also enjoy my Monday fast but it looks like its going to be a very cold one today as it is white outside with a thick frost.
I am going to try it tomorrow for the first time.Wish me luck please!
Me too - soup gurgling away on the hob already
That was a nice easy fast yesterday. And really enjoyed my breakfast this morning and the thought of doing some cooking today.

This plateau is getting a bit NOT FUNNY though. 4 months now, and I've lost nothing - just bounced around. I think its because I overdo it at the weekend, but I don't go anywhere near as mad as I used to. Also, the weekend is in fact 3 days, so almost half my week. I think though, on balance, I'm not going to change much, as I feel so healthy and energetic, and I'm not gaining.

Good luck to anyone fasting today
Back in today. Did 16:8 yesterday - didn't like waiting for breakfast, but otherwise very easy.

My trousers are too tight today which will encourage me to stick with it . And I'm on a promise for Choc cake tomoz
I'm in today. First liquid fast for a long time. Lost the plot a bit this week so looking forward to it.
I'm in again today. @Minumonline, I'm in exactly the same situation as you - I've been on a plateau since 24th August! I know I'm overdoing in on non fast days but not quite sure what to do about it. I do feel so much better than I did last year but it would be so good to loose some more. Perhaps I'll find some more willpower in the new year. I am however feeling the weight starting to creep on and I really don't want to undo what I've done in the past year in a few weeks! :frown:
I'm fasting today, and did a fast Tuesday too. I'm in the plateau club, but think the weight is starting to shift downwards again incredibly slowly, think I may maintain for a while until some motivation kicks in to throw in some extra fasts or tighten up on non fast days, have bought quite a lot of clothes in my new size too which I'm enjoying wearing so happy to plod on with some really slow progress until Xmas, can't believe how long I've been fasting, can't imagine any sort of diet would've lasted this long and been this successful!
Good to here from you @mariposa and you are quite right, this is not the time of year to be fretting about losing weight. I had a brs trying on session the other night. I had no idea I had so many and lots went in the bin - to make room for more better fitting ones of course. I have also been going through my clothes, starting with my jeans, by wearing them for a day to see how they feel on. I even bought a new pair of size 12 jeans - I just can't get to grips with the idea that I can be a size 12  .So far that's three pairs that are far too big and going to the charity shop. Bring on the Christmas sales  .

Usual weigh in today and I've stayed the same, quite relieved actually  .
I will be liquid fasting tomorrow. Last fast was last Sunday a liquid fast then too. also in a long haul plateau bouncing around, going downwards but ever so slowly. chuffed to be nearly 13kgs down.

Will have to bite the bullet and get rid of more clothes that really are too baggy. I want to wear an absolutely different style of clothes now as well. Haven't hit on what that is but am enjoying looking and trying on and rebuilding a new wardrobe bit by bit,

Would love to be like AiriR and only have water and cleanse but will just try tomorrow with tea, herb teas and my coffee midway with some miso in the mix. Will still come in under fasting TDEE. Be back later tomorrow best of ouch to tomorrow's LF'ers
I did my first 36 hour liquid fast on Wednesday (actually went just over 40 hours) and I felt fine. I thought it would be difficult but I found it quite easy really.

On my fast days now I usually just go through to my evening meal around 5 or 6pm - but on Monday all the plans went out of the window and I didn't eat until 9pm. I don't like eating late and going to bed on a full stomach. So I just thought, should I have not bothered eating and carried on through - hence my Wednesday experiment fast.

How often do people do the 36 hour liquid fast?

(My liquid fast consisted of 1 mug of black filtered coffee and water).
I do virtually all my fasts as liquid fasts. I find it easier just not thinking about food at all.
