Fast Monday November 10
09 Nov 2014, 20:08
I'm in today. Fasted yesterday until 6pm when naughty food hit me in the mouth! So in today after thinking I was too light last week went on high calorie week and put on 1kg. Time to reign it back in. Good luck fasters. Oops editing needed!
'Morning, @GMH. I wish I had a problem of thinking I was too light. Alas. Still, need to be philosophical. There are a lot of problems I don't have and everyone has problems of one kind or another. I have good health and I live in a lovely place and I have enough food - more than enough ....others might be pleased to have that problem! Or dear, it's too early on a Monday for such deep thoughts. I woke up too early. Now I have nearly finished the Saturday Age Samurai sudoku and it's time I had a black coffee and did something more productive!
Good morning,
Thanks for starting this thread @GMH - I will not be joining you this week or next as we are off to sunny North Queensland for a couple of weeks, I will rejoin you all when I come back.
As usual I will keep doing 16/8when I can, it does suit me as I am not a brekkie person, just the coffee and tea!
Good thoughts and philosophy @Sallyo - always good to remind us all any time of the day, thank you.

Happy Fasting everybody.
Take care,
cheers Maggie
I'm in today. Woken up with really painful sinuses, which isn't the best start to the week. Had a cuppa, but much slower to start the day than usual. But as tempting as putting off my fast until tomorrow is, I'm not doing it. Two weeks back into the swing of it, and I need to keep the momentum.
Enjoy your holiday Maggie.
I'm in, see you in the morning

Good Morning wonderful fasting buddies. @Katamac hope those sinuses get better soon.
@Maggiee Where up north are you staying, lucky you
Heres to a good fast after my fantastic weekend that included a little to much wineing and dining.

@Maggiee we stayed on Magnetic island a few years ago, beautiful place. If you can try dinner or lunch at Barefoot food and wine gallery and restaurant, out favourite on the island.

Great to see an active fasting today thread already! I am in today as well, have kept my food intake reasonable this past week after the previous weekend's indulgences, but did have a bit of a sugar overload last night...
Happy fasting everyone! :)

I'm in. I'm sort of in ADF mode at the moment…

Good luck Monday fasters. Don't let the naught food hit you in the mouth!

I'm stopping by on this Sunday evening to ask... does one fast on one's birthday? Just a rhetorical question, because the answer is: Why certainly!
But I don't plan to deprive myself tomorrow. I'll skip breakfast and lunch and then enjoy being taken out to dinner by my whole family. With a small slice of chocolate cake (I'm guessing there will be cake  ) the day won't be more than 700 calories max. Pretty good for a birthday fast, I'd say.
