I'm fasting as usual today. I have a heavy cold and have been feeling very sorry for myself all day but have stuck with it. I have just had my dinner and seem to be feeling better. Could there be something in ' feed a cold' or maybe it is just starting to go on its own.
Oops about @carieoatesthe toffees - what are you going to do - keep going and call them your dinner or start again tomorrow?

Oh dear @carieoates, how frustrating for you! Mm, English toffees though. Australian toffees just do not compare!
My fast day is over, how nice to have it done on a Wednesday for a change. I do feel a lot better for it, though do allow myself a few more cals on a fast day now if I want.
Best wishes to those of you still finishing your day! :clover:

I have to confess that I  at @carieoates's inadvertent

which is entirely appropriate for a whole bag of Thorntons toffee (unless they do 25g bags that I don't know about) I trust that you enjoyed it down to the last sticky gloop?

The broth was good. As long as nothing untoward occurs, I'll be finishing out the day on <350kcals.

:clover: to those with more hours to go or who are about to be led astray by memory.

Just coming to the end of my second fast this week. Feeling rather pleased as I haven't managed two fasts in a week for ages. I think it was the change of mindset when I was on maintenance, however I need to drop 4 or 5lbs as they kind of crept back on. Just going to wash up and then head off to bed with a smug feeling :) Good luck to those still on their fast day x

I'm under 500 calories today so I feel good about that :) I haven't lost weight in 4 weeks now but I refuse to give up. I'm sure in the long run it will be worth it :) have a good night everyone!

Lol you lot. Obviously the bag had been started but I completed it on my "fast" day.
I'd have you know I'm world famous for my typos. Thank the Lord they are editable here.
I was also chewing for medical reasons as I've been diagnosed with a (parotid) salivary gland obstruction. Apparently when I eat it aids my gland drainage, Not such a great way for me to reduce my swelling as I will then get new swellings else where, in the form of belly, bum and thighs.
Chewing gum now at the ready.
