I'm fasting today! Tops of 36 in Melbourne today and I'm not so good with the heat so hoping the fasting cools me down a bit - I'm usually cold!
Feeling crap today after a weekend of over indulgence - isn't it funny how we eventually look forward to fast days!
Good luck everyone! :)

Hi all!
Yes I'm here for my usual Monday fast.
Just about to go off to swim my laps-still trying to reach my 1km goal by New Year.
I'm eating out tonight with my choir friends at a Chinese Restaurant, not my favourite, and I can't fast tmrw so have decided to keep with the fast today and just eat as lightly as possible tonight- no rice.
I will still have a couple of glasses of wine though so probably can't call it a repair day.
Have a good fast everyone.

Hi Penny, I'm in too for the usual Monday fast. I'm keen for it too, as I ate and drank too much all weekend... disappointingly, I was all pretty crap food too due to lack of preparation and too much other stuff to do. I definitely don't make great choices when I'm rushed and on the run :-(

Beautiful day for a swim gigi, I was on the ferry to work and Sydney Harbour really looked its best on this sunny morning.

Sallyo, hope you get some good results from the blood tests.

Good luck all! :-)

I'm in today - I snacked up a storm over the weekend so it'll be good to get back on track.

Hi all, I'm in today for usual Monday repair.
Sallyo, it will be interesting for you to see the results, after doing 5:2. Please let us know.
Beautiful day here, sunny with a top of 29 expected. Been watering the garden already this am and weeding, weeding, weeding. Why do they grow so well?
Not sure how to plan over the Christmas period, have family coming on Boxing Day, thursday, which is a fast day usually, don't think they will want to reduce to 500cals!
Any ideas?
I could switch days - probably easiest option....
Cheers all :geek:

I'll be in when it's Monday here! I'm really looking forward to it! After Thanksgiving, a fast seems exactly what my body needs.

I'm in today! It's midday and so far all I have had is coffee with a sweetener and a splash of milk.

I am now trying the approach of having 'lunch' and dinner so today I have a tin of tuna in olive oil if I feel like I need something. I'm not hungry at the moment and still have misos to have before I will reach for the tuna but it helps just knowing it's there.

I'm struggling today, what with the heat (it's already 33 degrees) and a headache - I've been getting them for the past few days and I'm drinking heaps of water, so that's not it. I fear it's sinus issues but whatever it is, my head is pounding. I've just eaten some celery sticks and then some blueberries since I needed to eat something to take painkillers. Fun times!

I'm in as usual, enjoying the warm summer weather and planning to do some gardening soon. Am feeling really happy because I bought a new denim skirt at Sportscraft last week and it's a 10! Have sort of been hovering around the same weight for a little while now and am wondering if this is where my body is most comfortable. I would like to drop another kilo or two but to be honest, I'm pretty chuffed to be at this weight so have probably mentally relaxed somewhat. Will be interesting to see what happens over Christmas but it's good to know any potential weight gain can be easily dealt with!

Have a lovely and successful day everyone!
